Phillies in Flushing for Three

J.A. Happ takes the mound tonight vs. Johan as the Phils and Mets open up a three game series. The Phils come into the series three games up on the Mets in the NL East. The Mets come in banged up and with serious injury problems. 1B Carlos Delgado, SS Jose Reyes, and setup man JJ Putz headline a long list of players currently on the DL. Yet the Mets have battled through those injuries going 10-10 in their last 20 games and staying three games back of Philly. Against the Phillies this year the Mets are 3-1. With the injuries the Mets have right now, these are three very important games for the Phils to take a serious lead in the East.
